Buick Enclave Updated Trim Levels For 2021 Model Year

Launched in 2008, the Buick Enclave targeted the mid-size SUV segment and gained its reputation as one of the most popular vehicles from the vaults of Buick. The Enclave is a practical, spacious, and good looking SUV, idle for a big family and easy to use daily.

Powering the 2021 Enclave is an energetic 3.6-liter V6 engine rated at 310 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque. It quickly brings this vehicle up to speed and provides bursts of power for merging on the highway and climbing uphill. The 2021 Enclave is offered in four trim levels: Preferred, Essence, Premium, and Avenir.

2021 Buick Enclave Preferred

As the base model of the 2021 Buick Enclave, the Preferred trim is the most affordable. But, this doesn’t mean it lacks in any area.

Inside the 2021 Preferred trim, it has an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, a six-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, heated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

Proximity keyless entry, tri-zone automatic climate control, a rearview camera, rear parking sensors, and alloy wheels come standard. Alongside this are a remote engine start and hands-free liftgate, making the vehicle more driver-friendly than many others on the market.

Standard equipment in its infotainment system includes an 8-inch touch screen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a six-speaker stereo, six USB ports, a Wi-Fi hot spot, and Bluetooth.

2021 Buick Enclave Essence

While the 2021 Buick Enclave Essence trim is significantly more expensive, it offers several features. While each includes features similar to the preferred model, some updates are standard.

The Buick Enclave Essence gets an in-vehicle air filter, leather-appointed seats for the first two rows, satellite radio, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and lane change alert.

You can also get the Sound and Sites package with a navigation system and a 10-speaker Bose stereo. Also available is a moonroof, a rear camera mirror, and a surround-view parking camera system for a bit more.

2021 Buick Enclave Premium

The 2021 Buick Enclave Premium features all you see with Essence plus a few extras that make it Premium. It comes standard with features like HD Radio, a 10-speaker Bose stereo, ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, power-folding third row, a heated and power-adjustable steering wheel.

The Premium also gains an updated safety package, including forward-collision warning, front and rear parking sensors, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, and automatic high-beam headlights, and the following distance indicator. You can get the additional navigation, a moonroof, and larger alloy wheels.

2021 Buick Enclave Avenir

While premium trim offers a great variety of features, the 2021 Buick Enclave Avenir has the most luxurious lineup. Much of this can be found in the car’s interior, as it includes all the luxury-oriented features found in Premium, as well as some high-quality additions.

In addition to several of the options listed, the Avenir adds a wood-trimmed steering wheel, wireless device charging, and an 8-inch digital driver display. The system offers not only real-time traffic updates but also voice recognition and a touch screen.

Exclusive to the Avenir is a package that adds enhanced automatic braking, adaptive cruise control, and a retuned chassis and suspension. Drivers will be able to use the heated steering wheel, as well as the sunroof, for added comfort, requiring just a touch to open or close.
